I am a Certified Sommelier holding a Level 3 Award in Wines with the Wine and Spirts Education Trust (WSET). My love for wine began as a little kid crushing grapes with my Nonna in her backyard. I wanted to carry my passion for food, wine, and hospitality to a professional level and attended Johnson & Wales University located in Providence RI. In 2016, I graduated with a degree in Restaurant, Food and Beverage Management with a minor in Wine & Spirits. Shortly after, I obtained my Masters in Business Administration. While attending school, I had the opportunity to work under the Beverage Director at The Capital Grille Steakhouse for four years, gaining invaluable real-world experience and knowledge regarding wine and spirits. Following my stint at The Capital Grille, I traveled up and down the East Coast managing beverage programs for Stoney River Steak House and Barcelona Wine Bar. While managing the beverage program at Barcelona Wine Bar, a Spanish tapas hotspot, I discovered grapes beyond the Steak House classics of Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc. This led me to talk passionately and educate on grape varietals such as Albarino, Tempranillo and Garnacha to guests and employees alike. In 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I ultimately decided to step away from the hustle and bustle of the restaurant industry. During the transition towards a new career with LPL Financial and Neville & Associates, I was eager to continue teaching about wine. As a result, I founded the Instagram page “Guys Wine Guide” where I hold virtual tastings and give simple tips and tricks to help people better understand and purchase wines.
